Our Mission

Serving the LBI Community

The Beach Haven Chamber of Commerce is partnering with The Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean County to bring this beloved community event back to its pre-pandemic greatness. The Beach Haven Chowder Cook-off is a celebration of  LBI culinary traditions and the amazing restaurants that create them. Together with other local vendors and volunteers we pair everyone’s favorite Clam Chowders with other festivities to benefit our unique coastal region.

Partnership

The Beach Haven Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Hunger Foundation of Southern Ocean County to restore LBI’s longest running event.  Together with other local partners we aim to build on this event’s rich history.

Volunteerism

This event is completely run by volunteers committed to local commerce and the charitable causes this event supports.

Charity

100% of the proceeds of the Beach Haven Chowder Cook-Off goes towards bettering our local community through a variety of causes.

Initiatives

Our goal is to help benefit the following causes:

  • Funding Ocean County food banks

  • Beach Haven Parks & Infrastructure

  • More LBI community events

  • Local tourism & economic initiatives
